We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Handle administrative duties in a timely manner
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
• Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
• Escort patients to exam rooms
• Manage daily operations of the reception area and schedule appointments.
• Handle clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, photocopying, and e-mailing documents.
• Provide support to team members.
• Take insurance information from patients over the phone and enter it into the computer.
• Organize and maintain inventory.

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in healthcare administration preferred.
• Familiarity with medical billing procedures
• Strong organizational skills

Pay: From $11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
