- Follow up with users on PO creation once catalog item is ready
- Learn naming convention for catalog items for easy spend analytics.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies to optimize procurement processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that may arise
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels
- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to manage procurement activities
- Continuously improve procurement processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Bachelor's degree (can be waived with relevant work experience).
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Specialist or in a similar role
- 2 years in a customer facing role in Procurement, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain functions
- Continuous improvement
