The Role

This is a strategic manager position that will be dedicated to Cypress Creek Renewables Development with a large focus on supporting all 3rd party warehouse and logistics needs of the organization. The role will not only focus on the physical construct but also understanding and improving the systems that support a mature organization along with fully implemented standard operating procedures. The successful candidate will co-ordinate with all CCR suppliers to ensure that schedules are updated from time to time and that supply is aligned with project schedules ensuring seamless execution and overall operations. This is a full-time role that will provide a solid foundation for all Supply Chain and logistics activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling pick-up and delivery to/from suppliers, warehouses, & project sites including from time to time, International/Ocean Shipping (FOB/CIP/EXW)
  • Negotiate and manage agreements including obtaining best in market terms and conditions and rates for all CCR related Supply Chain activities.
  • Work closely with construction management and 3rd party vendors to manage claims surrounding damaged goods
  • Work with existing Agreements to align project forecasts with manufacturing slots across modules, transformers, Energy Storage and other large capital equipment purchases
  • Become involved in special supply chain projects from time to time.
  • Track and keep a running forecast of various commodity markets
  • Support RFI and RFQ activities surrounding the logistics market identifying best in class providers and terms for CCR
  • Associated accounting activities that will include creating forecasts, issuing purchase orders, change orders, matching and ensuring invoices are paid in accordance with contract terms and conditions
  • Manage the accounting and organization of serial number/pallet ID tracking and flash test data for solar modules
  • Vetting bill of ladings (BOL), proof of delivery (POD), and packing slips
  • Work with both internal and external parties to conduct quality assurance audits as required
  • Work with Director of FPP to ensure processes are created, implemented, and communicated internally
  • Work with third parties to execute Customs Clearance as needed
  • Work with CCR insurance providers to track insurance and provide necessary documentation
  • Ensure bonds are in place and up to date and tracked accordingly
  • Ensure that all shipping & handling instructions are followed to avoid warranty issues
  • Provide regular data & reports to management including the management of ITC units, commodity tracking and various logistics dashboards.

Preferred Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • 3 – 5 years, experience in supply chain and/or logistics.
  • Previous experience in Renewable Energy industry – preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, and evolving environment

Location: Santa Monica, CA, Durham, NC or Remote
