Job Overview: Are you an aggressive, results-focused leader with a proven track record in operations management? Cymertek is seeking a dynamic individual to join us as the Vice President of Operations. This role requires an independent and strategic thinker who can drive recruiting, contract portfolio management, employee retention, and HR initiatives, while also providing crucial support to our business development team. Key Responsibilities

  1. Strong Leadership:
    • Lead operations with a strategic long-term vision and results-oriented approach.
    • Design and implement clear and effective policies and procedures with the support of the executive leadership team.

  2. Recruiting and Talent Management:

    • Source and attract top-tier talent through various channels, including networking, social media, and industry events.
    • Conduct thorough candidate assessments, interviews, and evaluations to ensure the selection of high-caliber individuals.
    • Drive the recruitment process from initial contact through to offer negotiation, participate in successful candidate closing and ensure successful onboarding.
    • Collaborate with department leaders to understand hiring needs and contribute to workforce planning.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
    • Contribute to the overall strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  3. Contract Portfolio Management and Growth:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners and program management teams.
    • Manage and oversee corporate-wide contract portfolio.
    • Develop and execute strategies for portfolio staff growth and expansion opportunities.
    • Oversee the entire staff lifecycle during work projects, integrating staffing and HR activities seamlessly.
  4. Human Resources:
    • Drive HR initiatives and policies to support the overall business objectives.
    • Implement strategies for employee retention and professional development.
    • Work on fostering a positive work environment and employee engagement.
  5. Other Key Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with the business development team to align operational strategies with business goals.
    • Achieve productivity targets, reduce cost, and eliminate errors to meet objectives.
    • Coordinate corporate events.
    • Other duties as necessary across internal small business departments.
