ob Title: Team Leader - OSP Engineering and Design

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Team Leader in OSP (Outside Plant) Engineering and Design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications OSP engineering and design, with proven leadership skills to effectively manage a team of engineers and designers. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects and driving excellence in OSP design and engineering practices.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of OSP engineers and designers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of OSP engineering and design projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Technical Expertise: Utilize in-depth knowledge of OSP engineering principles, industry standards, and best practices to drive the development of high-quality OSP designs that meet client requirements and regulatory guidelines. Collaboration: Foster a collaborative work environment by effectively coordinating with internal teams, external stakeholders, and clients to gather project requirements, resolve technical issues, and ensure project success. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes and conduct regular reviews to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of OSP designs with project specifications and standards. Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively to optimize team productivity and meet project deliverables, while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities. Training and Development: Identify training needs within the team and facilitate training programs to enhance team members' technical skills, knowledge, and professional growth. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and elevate the quality of OSP engineering and design services. Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges in project delivery and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field. Equivalent combination of experience and education may be substituted for a degree.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in OSP engineering and design, with 5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proficiency in OSP design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Microstation) and GIS tools.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications industry standards (e.g., TIA, ANSI, NEC) and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to effectively manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $30.00 per hour
