Schnabel was formed in 1959 as a foundation engineering and construction company in business to design and build excavation support and specialized foundation systems. We still do that today. We have grown from a single office in Washington, DC to include nine offices from coast-to-coast where we now employ over 40 professional engineers who design and manage the construction projects in those offices.

**Job Description**

Assist with installing soldier beams, lagging, walers, braces, tiebacks, soil nails, shotcrete, etc. for excavation support.

**Qualifications**

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Safety oriented, working knowledge of OSHA and safety policies

* Able to follow directions

* Self-starter, motivated

* Travel as required for projects

* Able to lift 50 lbs. and work on your feet

* Member of a Laborer's Union or willing to join the union

Training Requirements

* OSHA 30 or willing to obtain

* First Aid/CPR/AED or willing to obtain
