Woodrow is looking for a Maintenance Technician to maintain our production equipment and facilities. The Technician is responsible for conducting, maintaining, testing and repairing all electrical, control systems, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems and components. Applies knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to intended operation.

Essential Functions:
Ensure that facilities, layout, and machinery run to their maximum efficiency and output. This includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical, electrical, and digital equipment.
Install, maintain, improve and repair equipment, plant, services and building installations to set levels effectively in compliance with best practices ensuring production efficiency can be met within a safe well-presented facility.
Respond to technical issues affecting production and maintain electrical and mechanical services through Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
Attend breakdowns, identify cause and problem solve, with minimal downtime to production. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment.
Will be required to understand and baseline the current state in terms of the effectiveness of work order planning and scheduling and cost (materials, resources, time) implications.
Optimize and effectively accomplish all work and work orders (from break down to condition based) and lead in the development of rules and controls over the planning and scheduling efforts.
Contribute to measurable improvements in scheduled, unscheduled and break down maintenance related down time and the costs
Install and startup new production equipment. Prepare facilities for new equipment – floor, utilities, etc.
Qualifications:
Technical knowledge in the field of industrial maintenance, including relevant regulations, standards and codes preferred
Ability to read and understand diagrams and drawings.
Objective judgment and fact based decision making approach.
Strong multitasking competency.
18 years old
High School Diploma or GED
