Cyclone Bagels is Hiring a Store Manager Near Brooklyn, NY
- Open and/or close the shop
- Be knowledgeable about all aspects of the menu
- Maintain POS system with all the updates (number of items, shortages, 86’s items, etc)
- Daily walk through to inspect shop and report any issues to manager
- Supervise that all side work is completed before, during and after each barista shift
- Greets guest entering and leaving the shop
- Completes daily reports of sales, waste and completes recaps for the day
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area and dining areas (indoor and outdoor)
- Ensure all displays are always full, tidy and with the correct signage
- Accurately process all cash and credit payments along with cash report and deposits
- Ensure all FOH and BOH equipment is cleaned and maintained
- Be physically present in the café during service to ensure service standards are met
- Guide, direct and train FOH staff to have comprehensive knowledge of the menu, and service standards
- Observe the flow of service, providing assistance when necessary.
- Be aware of any bottlenecks or overwhelmed service areas and assist in real time.
- Make sure that all needed supplies are on the floor at all times
- Maintain a healthy, happy and productive work environment for employees to foster loyalty and dedication
