Maintenance Technician Position Overview : The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, engines, conveyor systems, packaging lines, and other production and manufacturing equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment, conveyors, packaging lines, motors, engines and other mechanical systems.
• Perform inspections, tests, and preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Test and replace broken or worn parts, such as belts and bearings.
• Identify and resolve malfunctions in mechanical and electronic systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Program, calibrate, and debug automated systems.
• Operate and maintain dairy, food manufacturing equipment.
• Use hand tools and power tools to repair and maintain various systems.
• Work with engineering staff to develop and integrate solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years of experience in maintenance or related field.
• Knowledge of PLC and automation systems.
• Proficiency in problem-solving and troubleshooting.
• Excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Nice to have : experience in dairy, food manufacturing, packaging line maintenance, and / or programming conveyors.
