Position Overview : The Field Service Technician provides on-site service and support to customers. This includes installation of products, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of systems, and customer training.

Must live in MN, WI, IA

Key Responsibilities :

• Travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, and perform repairs on milling machines (manual & CNC), lathes, saws, grinding and metrology machines.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls.
• Understand customer needs and respond to their questions and concerns.
• Provide technical training and instruction to customers.
• Provide feedback to the company on customer needs, problems, and suggestions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on products and systems.
• Assist other departments as needed.

Qualifications :

• Associates or Technical Degree (preferred)
• 2 years of relevant product knowledge, preferably obtained through hands-on experience.
• Basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system trouble shooting skills.
• Must possess a basic understanding of machining / milling / metrology equipment
• Must have the ability to read, understand, and follow electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic schematics, and ladder logic.
• Must have the ability to use a variety of basic electrical testing / diagnostic equipment and have a basic understanding of AC and DC electrical theory, as well as the ability to use precision measuring instrumentation.
