The Project Manager oversees and manages the work of our large-scale electrical projects throughout the RI and S MA area. This role requires an individual who possesses multiple talents: design & engineering, estimating, project management, and client relationship management.
We offer a competitive compensation structure from $90k-120k Incredible benefits!

What You Will Be Doing

  • Understanding commercial construction logistics, labor, material, and equipment handling.
  • Ability to read and understand plans and specifications and translate the information to operational realities.
  • Understanding of basic business practices, and ability to read and understand construction-related accounting reports.
  • Facilitate the installation of mechanical systems.
  • Coordinating labor with superintendents, job site foremen, and clients.
  • Evaluating quotations.
  • Selecting and managing sub-contractors.
  • Equipment selection, purchase orders, RFIs, submittals and change orders.

What You Need for this Position

At least 5 years of experience and knowledge of all phases of construction management including:

  • History of managing Electrical Construction projects in the New England Market
  • Provide clear and articulate direction to team-members
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Experience with pre-construction, estimating RFIs, change orders, and submittals
  • Experience with Estimating is a bonus
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Strong administrative skills-the ability to maintain clear notes, keep organized records, and time management
  • Knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, P6, and other construction-related software preferred
