Job Title : Accounts Receivable Specialist (Temporary / Contract Assignment)
Location : Fort Lauderdale, FL
What You Will Be Doing
In this role you will ensure that all customers are correctly invoiced, that all invoices and cash applications are posted on time, and that the company receivables are effectively reported and monitored. This includes :
- Creating and entering customer invoices into the ERP system.
- Applying consumer payments to the ERP's AR subledger and carrying out credits and debits to the accounts of the customers
- Performing AR monitoring and reporting in order to let Senior Management and Field Operations management assess the state of unpaid client balances.
- Perform initial collection and follow-up receivable pursuit contact calls to help collect past-due outstanding receivables;
document the progress of such pursuits for field and senior management.
- Support the controller in creating important metrics and analysis
- Support the accounting department by carrying out additional accounting and administrative tasks.
What You Need for this Position
- 2 Years of Experience in Accounts Receivable
- Experience in the construction industry or related industry
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required
- Proficient in Excel
- Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus
