Role and Responsibilities :

As a Landscaping Crew Member you will assists with day-to-day landscaping duties on base. You will also execute all required landscaping responsibilities efficiently and productively.

• Perform routine maintenance and inspect equipment at the end of each day.
• Perform inspection daily of his / her equipment to notice any potential equipment malfunction.
• Weed whack any areas that a mower cannot mow, as well as, hard to reach service areas.
• Weed whack areas in a safe and productive manner while avoiding damage to other people’s property.
• Ensure all safeguards and safety items are being used and operated by the user.
• Wear all safety gear are required by CW Resources.
• Notify Crew Leader of any areas that are unsafe to weed whack or cannot be serviced for the day.
• Obey and observe all traffic laws while operating equipment.
• Work with Crew Leader to ensure 100% completion of assigned areas.
• Ensure that all areas assigned for the day are completed up to contract standards.
• Perform re-servicing of failed areas.
• Adhere to company policies and breaks.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements :

• High school diploma and / or GED.
• Minimum of (1) One year landscaping experience.
• Ability to work directly with disabled individuals.

Physical Demands : The Landscaping Crew Member is a physically demanding position. While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to reach with hands and arms.

• Frequently required use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects tools or controls.
• Must spend the entire time at work standing, walking, lifting heavy objects, operating medium-weight lawn care equipment.
• Required to do a great deal of stretching and bending, often in awkward positions.
• Frequently lift and / or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move more than 70 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Environmental Demands :

The incumbent will be exposed to outdoor elements and may have to work in extreme heat. The incumbent may be exposed to loud noises for extended periods.
