What Will You Do? 
As a Quality Control Coordinator with CW Resources, Inc. (CWR), you will play a pivotal role in upholding our commitment to quality, safety, and environmental stewardship. You will be responsible for proactively ensuring that quality and safety standards are maintained in accordance with defined policies, procedures, and work instructions. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting both planned and unannounced inspections to uphold our high standards of excellence.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement quality procedures and safety policies, aligning them with contract requirements and relevant corporate, statutory, and regulatory mandates specific to the site. Continuously measure, monitor, and analyze processes, taking necessary actions to achieve established objectives and roles, with a focus on driving ongoing improvement.
  • Conduct re-inspections of serviced areas, complete inspection reports, and communicate findings to management while identifying any emerging trends.
  • Adhere to the site's safety program, encompassing monthly safety meetings, training initiatives, and comprehensive hazard inspections and assessments. Additionally, ensure compliance with the site/contract environmental program, including environmental site assessments, facility inspections, and the management of hazardous waste in accordance with state, federal, and regulatory environmental requirements.
  • Actively promote the health, safety, and well-being of both staff and facility occupants. Provide on-site employee training and thoroughly investigate all work-related accidents and incidents among employees, implementing corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Conduct regular reviews to confirm employee adherence to G5-42 protocols and proper handling of hazardous, undiluted cleaning materials.
  • Stay vigilant regarding compliance with all environmental health and safety regulations and remain informed about any changes in laws or regulations that could impact the organization.
Is this a physically demanding job?
The role of Quality Control Coordinator at CWR is physically demanding, requiring a high level of physical fitness and agility. While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent will encounter the following physical demands:
  • Reaching: Regularly required to reach with hands and arms.
  • Manual Dexterity: Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls.
  • Continuous Standing and Walking: The incumbent must spend the majority of their work time standing and walking, including navigating through various work environments.
  • Lifting Heavy Objects: This role involves lifting heavy objects, including but not limited to, equipment and furniture. The incumbent must be capable of frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or moving more than 70 pounds.
  • Operating Cleaning Equipment: The role may require the operation of medium-weight cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, sweeping and mopping floors, and other cleaning tools.
  • Stretching and Bending: The incumbent will need to perform a significant amount of stretching and bending, often in awkward positions, to conduct inspections and perform tasks.
  • Visual Acuity: Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
