Essential Duties

• Delivery Services: Deliver products to customers' locations promptly and accurately, ensuring the quality and integrity of goods during transportation.
• Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including greeting customers, handling inquiries, and addressing any concerns professionally.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on company vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, quantities, and any customer feedback or issues encountered.
• Assist with Store Operations: Assist with store operations such as stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and other tasks as assigned during non-driving hours.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Flexibility: Drivers may need to work during evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on the hours of operation.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

• Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record of at least three (3) years.
• Previous Driving Experience: Prior experience in a delivery driver or similar role is preferred.
• Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry packages of various sizes and weights.
• Time Management: Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet delivery deadlines.

Physical and Environmental Demands

• Mobility: Ability to sit for extended periods and drive for long distances. Must also be able to enter and exit the vehicle frequently.
• Lifting: Occasional lifting of moderate loads when handling packages or loading/unloading goods. Ability to lift up to [insert weight] pounds.
• Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in operating vehicle controls and handling packages.
• Temperature Variations: Exposure to variations in temperature while loading/unloading goods in different environments. Must be able to withstand temperature changes in outdoor conditions.

• Fast-Paced Environment: Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple deliveries within tight deadlines.
• Customer Interaction: Regular interaction with customers during deliveries, requiring effective communication and customer service skills.

Background Screening 

As part of CW's commitment to maintaining a safe and secure work environment a comprehensive background screening will be conducted. Employment verification will be performed to validate work experience, and education verification will be conducted to confirm educational qualifications. Professional license and credential verification will be conducted if applicable to the position. A criminal background check will be carried out to identify any past criminal convictions or ongoing legal issues. In addition, a credit check may be performed to assess financial responsibility. Reference checks will be conducted to gather insights into the candidate's work ethic and performance. Regulatory and compliance checks will also be conducted to ensure the candidate has not been involved in any violations or issues that could pose risks to the organization. Please note that a DDS (Department of Developmental Services) check may be included as part of the background screening process for this position.
