Custom Utilicom, Inc. is Hiring an Underground Foreman Near Toledo, OH
- Read and interpret documents in the form of work orders, including (but not limited to) strand maps, PDF prints, Bentley prints, and any other CATV/fiber related document. Provide daily pay sheet and associated as built documentation at the end of each shift.
- Manages a crew consisting of 2 - 4 additional staff:
- Directs and helps crew to maintain an organized and clean aerial cable placing truck that is properly tooled and stocked daily.
- Verifies with crew that all tools and equipment (including trailer) are in good working order daily.
- Works with crew to conduct a pre-job safety/hazard analysis prior to beginning any work. Oversees the safety of all crew members at all times. Including use of PPE and ensuring the entire crew is using all PPE properly.
- Maintain a professional attitude with crew and the general public and insure the crew members maintain a professional attitude.
- Directs the crew to proper positions from start to finish at each job site while still performing one's own work (operating, locating, excavating, restoring) at the highest level.
- Understands and can perform all work associated to HDD cable placement and is able to follow construction methods at a distinguished level. (Adhering to NESC & TWC Construction codes)
