Summary

We are looking for a Remarketing Manager to create, execute & optimize all used truck and equipment marketing activities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the truck and equipment industry and a proven track record in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, increasing brand awareness, and maximizing the value of our used inventory, including assets listed in Custom Truck’s online auctions and both retail-ready and discounted, recondition-ready assets marketed on Custom Truck’s website and/or online Custom Truck Marketplace.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive remarketing strategies for used trucks and equipment to drive sales and maximize ROI, with a strong focus on video & graphic content marketing, third party equipment listings, and social media awareness campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the rental, sales and internal used equipment operations team(s), to understand inventory needs and strategies.
  • Manage the online presence of used retail-ready, auction & marketplace inventory, on Custom Truck’s website and third-party platforms.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to maintain accurate buyer personas and identify trends and opportunities in the truck and equipment industry.
  • Create and optimize omni-channel digital marketing campaigns promoting all used truck and equipment inventory in standalone promotions, as well as integrated cross-selling communications to applicable end-user audiences.
  • Leverage internal customer and audience data to maintain sanitized, segmented distribution lists and workflows.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve goals.
  • Work with the event marketing team to ensure all Custom Truck used equipment offerings are well represented at applicable industry tradeshows.
  • Work closely with digital and content marketing teams – internal and external, to ensure seamless execution and cohesive integration with other company promotions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers and engage with potential buyers to drive interest and conversions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends to keep Custom Truck’s used equipment offerings competitive.
  • Perform other job duties as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on remarketing in the truck and equipment industry.
  • Proven track record of developing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of core digital paid and organic marketing channels and their integration into well-organized omni-channel campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of online auction platforms and online marketing tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and analytics tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for the truck and equipment industry and a customer-focused mindset.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to travel to tradeshows and events. Could reach approximately 20% travel.
  • Must be able to work in both hot and cold environments as needed for outdoor tradeshows and events.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk substantial distances as needed during tradeshow and event set up and tear down.
  • Must be able to lift and move objects up to 20 lbs., as needed.
