LAWN CARE SPECIALIST ($500 Sign on Bonus)

Custom Personalized Lawn Care has been providing fertilization and pest control services to customers in Michigan since 1988. We have locations in Flint, Saginaw, Lansing, and Novi. As a successful organization, we are always looking for skilled individuals to add to the team.

THE BASICS:

Experienced and Certified Applicators will receive a starting pay of $20.00/hour for 1 year or less of experience. Do you have more than 1 year of experience? Starting pay can be as high as $24.00 per hour PLUS commissions for multiple years of experience. Schedule consists of 40-50 hours weekly based on a 5 day work week with occasional Saturdays. NEWLY HIRED TECHNICIANS RECEIVE A $500.00 SIGN-ON BONUS, PAID UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF 90 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT!

  • $350 Bonus for Referring Technicians who get hired and complete 90 days of employment

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Apply lawn care treatments to residential or commercial properties with company provided truck and lawn application equipment
  • Assess lawn health and apply fertilizer and pesticides to the customer’s property via ride on spreader according to product schedule, safety, and label instructions
  • Communicate lawn observations and recommendations to customers via company provided tablets and printed invoices
  • Provide information and pricing to potential and current customers about new services
  • Complete required daily and weekly production goals
  • Maintain and monitor product inventory in truck
  • Maintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness, safety, and general maintenance as directed

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Must complete in-house training and certification
  • Must be able to provide exceptional customer service
  • Must be able to manage your time efficiently with little supervision

  • Annual in-house training that is Accredited by the Michigan Department of Agriculture
  • Provides 8 annual Recertification Credits - takes the place of regular testing/renewals on your own!
  • Assigned route area with minimal drive time to focus on increased productivity
  • Full-time Shop Mechanics to help keep our technicians productive and operating at peak performance
  • Full-time Dispatch Department to assist with questions in the field
  • Designated in-house Sales Representative to assist you with handling and closing in-field sales, allowing the ability to remain productive in the field while also benefiting from weekly sales commissions
