We are the largest purveyor of Indian Street Food in the US and are primed for growth in 2017 and beyond...Job DescriptionProcesses, verifies, and reconciles sales from retail locations, truck locations, third party relationships etc. Manage Month-End process, including but not limited to preparation of financial statements, accruals and journal entries, maintain reconciliations for balance sheet accounts in established corporate formats and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Prepare month end reports for Senior ManagementSupervise Income Audit, Payroll, and Accounts Payable/Receivable functions: ensure all daily & monthly reporting is accurate and on time, preparation of weekly tip upload, review & post biweekly payroll journals, ensure all related policies & procedures are followedUnderstand and possess a working knowledge of the Accounting & Finance ManualAssist the CEO and Senior Management Team in maintaining adherence to internal controls throughout the companyQualificationsBachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance is requiredFinancial ModelingStrong understanding of accounting theory and practice3-5 years accounting/finance experienceExperience in the restaurant industry is requiredHighly detailed oriented and organized in workAbility to meet assigned deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focusAbility to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from CEO and Senior Management to accomplish objectivesProficiency with QuickBooks, email and Microsoft Office applications especially with Excel lookup and pivot tables.
