Healthcare facility in the neighborhoods of Boston in search of an emergency medicine physician to provide monthly coverage this spring

Schedule:

• Shift types: M-T 7a-2p, 1p-8p. W-F 7a-5p. Sat, Sun, 7a-4p. W-Sun, 2 p-12a. Everyday, 11p-7a
• Start as soon as credentialed - ongoing
  • Credentialing timeframe: Estimated 60 days

Assignment:

• Volume: 30,000 annual visits, average 80 patients per day
• Outpatient, adults & some peds
• Support staff: Mid-levels & specialities on call
• EMR: Meditech
• Facility: No trauma designation
• Procedures: Will need to be comfortable handling anything that comes in the ER
  • Higher acuity cases are transferred out

Requirements:

• Board certified or eligible in emergency medicine
  • Will consider FM candidates with extensive ER experience if they have ACLS, ATLS, and PALS
• Active MA license & DEA

• Rental car, flight, and lodging are fully covered!
• Less than 1 hour from an international airport
