JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Assistant Manager
Reports To: Sales Center Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: Responsible for providing excellent customer service to distributors placing and picking up their orders, assisting the manager as needed, and for the upkeep of the work areas while following the guidelines and procedures set for by Cura Resource Group.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following essential functions. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Manages the treasury, pallet, and petty cash funds. Cashiers as needed.
2. Opens and closes the facility.
3. Supervises the front and back office staff to ensure the highest level of customer service is being given to the distributors.
4. Oversees the cleanliness and operation of the facility.
5. Follows the end of day closing procedures and submits reports such as the daily deposit.
6. Promptly reports any cash overages and shortages.
7. Serves as front office or back office staff when necessary.
8. Handles any distributor related issues or complaints.
9. Oversees the back office of the facility such as the organization of the pallets, perform spot checks, overseeing the cleanliness of the area, assist with training of new staff, tracking and reporting to the manager of damaged products, participate with shipment deliveries.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises employees in the Front Office and Back Office Departments . Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include to assist interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Ability to apply concepts of basic addition, subtraction, algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft
Excel, Paychex Payroll software, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Oracle Enterprise, Microsoft
Outlook, and Google Mail.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
