Job Title: Sr. Student Information Systems Developer (IT Software Dev-PeopleSoft 3)
The City University of New York s (CUNY) Office of Computing and Information Services (CIS) is seeking a Sr. Student Information Systems (SIS) Developer who possesses solid expertise in PeopleSoft s Financials and Cash Management modules. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Student Information Systems, they will be responsible for the development and critical day-to-day support and enhancement of the PeopleSoft application modules installed or implemented at The City University of New York. Key duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: identifying, implementing, and maintaining PeopleTools for custom applications based on analysis of user/owner needs; analyzing, identifying, designing, developing, testing, deploying, implementing, and supporting requested upgrades, enhancements, and changes to PeopleSoft Interaction Hub, Portal, Campus Solutions; performing (full lifecycle) software development; using best practices to ensure consistent system functionality and availability to system user community; ensuring finished product meets objectives and other appropriate criteria associated with user/owner requirements; monitoring and performing problem resolution of PeopleSoft Integrations; ensuring PeopleSoft system-related production errors are diagnosed and resolved quickly to maintain accuracy of business-critical systems; interacting with database administrators, security analysts, and business system users in this effort. To qualify, applicants should possess one of the following criteria: (1) an Oracle/PeopleSoft certification for PeopleSoft Version 8 or later with 4 years of full time information technology work experience which must have been primarily in PeopleSoft development, or (2) a High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution and at least nine (9) years of full-time information technology work experience (post-high school), at least five (5) years of which must have been primarily in PeopleSoft development; or (3) an Associate's degree from an accredited institution in computer science or related field plus seven (7) years of full-time information technology work experience, at least five (5) years of which must have been primarily in PeopleSoft development, or (4) a Bachelor s degree from an accredited institution in computer science or related field plus five (5) years of full-time information technology work experience, which must have been primarily in PeopleSoft development.
