Specialty: Commercial, Primary Responsibilities:

• Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and instructions from foreman.
• Maintains pipe systems, pipe supports.
• Studies building place and working drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installations.
• Occasionally required to help train new or transferred team members
• Can perform work from a scissor/boom lift, ladders or scaffold.
• Perform work compliant with all plumbing codes and OSHA regulations
• Installs and repairs plumbing fixtures of all types
• May be required to perform duties up and beyond their job duties

Qualifications:

• Good written and oral communications
• Demonstrate professionalism at all times
• Ability to follow directions, and work well with others
• Safety oriented
• Mechanically inclined
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
• Ability to work with other trades on job sites and adapt quickly to changes

Education/Experience:

• Licensed in the State of Iowa as a Journeyman Plumber or interested in obtaining a Journeyman License
• Paid Licensing and paid licensing continuing education credits as required by trade
• Will help obtain in-state license if needed
• Sponsored Apprenticeship with ABC Of Iowa -earn money while you learn the trade
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in commercial plumbing and heating trade
