We are looking for a talented AGV Technician to join our team specializing in manufacturing for our Components Business Segment in Columbus, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Maintain AGVs clean.
- Develop and performs PM and Recovery on AGV. Train other techs on tasks related to PM and recovery of AGVS.
- Responsible to maintain the right number of spare parts for the AGVs and 3 axis
- Communicates with the AGV and 3 Axis suppliers on a regular basis for spare parts and technical support.
- Report metal rack repair needs on a frequent basis.
- Make sure induction and deduction processes are performed in a timely manner, preventing production downtime.
- Report potential shortages of metal racks and/or black trays.
- Familiar with HMI.
- Works with peers, skilled trades and support staff to maintain and identify equipment in need of repair.
- Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet business goals.
- Health and Safety Fundamentals - Champions and models proactive health and safety behaviors by identifying, reporting and participating in actions to improve health and safety in order to build an interdependent culture and contribute to an injury-free workplace.
- Ensures accountability - Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments.
- Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams.
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
