We are currently looking for a Senior Communications Manager to be based out of one of our offices on the East Coast, preferably New York, Boston or Westport. In this role, you will partner with compelling thought leaders within the construction industry to develop subject matter expertise and content across multiple channels. The Senior Communications Director is an exceptional writer and strong verbal communicator who is an authority on grammar and writing rules (particularly AP Style) and can adapt their style to various platforms and audiences. 

Responsibilities

• Work to understand the company’s core services, overall business, and vision in order to advance its goals through high-quality communications.
• Look for ways to accomplish your projects with a high level of creativity.
• Maintain and drive the external communications calendar.
• Maintain and enforce our company’s brand voice in all external communications materials.
• Develop strong relationships and work with team members at all levels of the organization to develop content for our various communications activities.
• Remain up to date on industry topics and trends, as well as best practices related to professional communications and marketing.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Arts in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of seven years' of total experience required and three years of A/E/C experience is preferred.
• Advanced efficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
• Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
