Pay: $15-$25/hour based on experience and qualifications

We are seeking a skilled registered dental assistant to join our team. As our RDA, you will have the opportunity to perform coronal polishing while building rapport with our young patients.

Location: 510 S Jefferson Ave Cookeville, TN

Schedule: Monday-Thursday from 7:45 AM-5:00 PM

What You Will Do:

• Must be able to work in a pediatric, child friendly environment
• Review all hygiene patient charts including; reason and necessity of visit, medical history, and x-ray requirement
• Verify patient information with parent or guardian, according to HIPAA privacy standards
• Have coronal polishing certification - We are able to provide a sealant course!
• Verify the patient has consent for treatment from parent or guardian
• Advise parent or guardian what to expect in the visit and address any concerns
• Charting all existing/missing teeth, existing restorations, and/or dental procedures
• Obtaining all x-rays necessary in the best quality possible
• Maintaining accurate clinical notes of each visit
• Clean and sterilize all instruments following OSHA and company standards. This includes; scrubbing instruments, packing the instruments and processing them through the statim or autoclave sterilizer
• Must maintain Dental Assisting License in good standing and complete the CE Credits required by state

What You Will Need

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current State of TN RDA License
• Current CPR Healthcare Provider Certification
• Polishing and Radiology Certification
Bilingual-Spanish preferred.
