Pay: $17/hour

Cumberland Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, an affiliate of Spark Dental Management, has an immediate opportunity available for a Registered Dental Assistant at our Whitehouse, TN location!

Are you a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) who is passionate about making a difference in patients' oral health? Do you take pride in providing exceptional care and educating patients on the importance of oral hygiene? If so, Cumberland Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics is the place for you!

We are seeking a skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. As our RDA, you will have the opportunity to perform coronal polishing while building rapport with our young patients.

We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment where you can grow and develop your skills while making a positive impact on patients' oral health.

This position is a full-time position. The hours are Monday-Thursday from 7:45 am - 5:00 pm and Friday from 7:45 am - 1:00 pm

Location: 520 Highway 76 Suite 9, Whitehouse TN 37188

What You Will Do:

  • Must be able to work in a pediatric, child-friendly environment
  • Review all hygiene patient charts including; reason and necessity of visit, medical history, and x-ray requirement
  • Verify patient information with parent or guardian, according to HIPAA privacy standards
  • Verify the patient has consent for treatment from parent or guardian
  • Advise parent or guardian what to expect in the visit and address any concerns
  • Charting all existing/missing teeth, existing restorations, and/or dental procedures
  • Obtaining all x-rays necessary in the best quality possible
  • Maintaining accurate clinical notes of each visit
  • Clean and sterilize all instruments following OSHA and company standards. This includes; scrubbing instruments, packing the instruments and processing them through the statim or autoclave sterilizer
  • Must maintain Dental Assisting License in good standing and complete the CE Credits required by state

What You Will Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current State of TN RDA License
  • Current CPR Healthcare Provider Certification
  • Polishing, Radiology, and Sealant Certification
  • Dental office experience preferred
  • Since this position does require working with children, a criminal background check will be required.
