Cumberland County is Hiring an Administrative Clerk - Adult Probation Near Carlisle, PA

Job Description

The Administrative Clerk performs specialized departmental clerical duties and responsibilities within the department.

Position Information:

Position Code: AP3009

DBM Grade: A12

Current Cumberland County Employees will follow the County Promotion/Demotion policy.

Responsibilities:

  • Processes all required court documents and maintains all court databases for all courts
  • Attends court on a weekly/biweekly/monthly basis
  • Processes expungements and limited access court orders
  • Enters invoices and expenses into Lawson and prepares batches for the Controller's office
  • Prepares and processes letters, reports, memos, and completion certificates as required by the department
  • Processes bench warrants
  • Assists offenders in the office and in court with questions and paperwork
  • Answers phones, sorts, and delivers mail and prepares new files for all incoming offenders.


Qualfications:

  • High school diploma or equivalency plus some business/clerical and computer training
  • 1-2 years of working experience in an office, social services, or court system preferred
