Position Summary

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for the execution of outgoing shipments. Proactive planning of all logistics pertaining to client orders. Maintain Accurate records of Packing slips and Proof of delivery. Timely Notifications of job completion to all customer orders utilizing the shop management system and Culture Studio Email.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Daily Shipping Ensures outgoing packages outlined in the Daily Shipping assignment are properly labeled, entered with the correct shipping service, and go out on time to hit the client's deadline.

Shipping Data Inputs Shipping data in FedEx ship manager and UPS Worldship programs

Client Communication Correspond with clients in a timely manner and proactively notify clients of completion schedules. Supply Packing slips and tracking info to clients.

Planning Proactive the planning of all outgoing packages and Freight shipments

Prepare shipments Preparation of all shipping documents. i.e Packing slips, carton labels, Bill of Lading,
Freight schedules.

Printed stock Organization of Printed products within the shipping department and maintaining accurately
organization inventory.

Safety Support a safe working environment with an emphasis on good housekeeping and Safety precautions when picking up boxes, loading, and unloading Trucks.

Tool Maintenance Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all warehouse tools and machinery pertaining to the department.

Tool Organization Keeps hand Trucks, Pallet jacks, and department tools organized and put away at the end of the shift.

Shipping Services Meet shipping service schedules with 100% shipping accuracy.

Packing Responsibilities
Assist in packing When there are no deliveries or shipments, assist the packaging department.

Shipping Slips Working with our shop management software to create packing slips and carton labels.

Organization of completed jobs
Special Knowledge/Skills

This position requires someone self-motivated and very organized in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications/Education/Experience

❏ High School Diploma
❏ UPS Worldship, FedEx Ship Manager, and Excel knowledge required
❏ Shipping and Warehousing experience preferred
❏ Must be detail-oriented

Mental/Physical Demands/Environmental factors
Constant upper body movement and standing within a normal work day time frame. Heavy lifting of stacks of garments.
Works next to a hot curing oven that creates high heat, and humidity in the building. Necessary safety equipment is supplied.

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
