In addition to daily cooking responsibilities, this role will also prepare food for catered events. **Responsibilities:**
Requirements **Our Ideal Candidate will have:**
* High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education
* ServeSafe certification preferred.
* Coursework in institutional cooking and food services sanitation desired
* Experience in healthcare or contract food service environment is preferred but not required.
**Physical Requirements:**
* Ability to stand or walk continuously
* Ability to reach or bend frequently
* Ability to frequently lift or carry items of 10lbs or more
* Ability to occasionally lift items up to 50lbs
