Job Description Full Time Veterinary Receptionist
Cuesta Park Animal Hospital is growing and looking for the right applicant to join the team as our lead receptionist. Receptionists are the clients’ first impression of the practice, as well as a crucial resource for our clients to get necessary care for their pets. Whether that be routine visits or concerned pet-parents, we are here to provide exceptional care to the dogs and cats of SLO county. Motivated individuals who find fulfilment in helping animals are encouraged to apply.
Receptionists are responsible for greeting clients; differentiating routine cases from emergency cases; scheduling appointments; entering client, patient, and financial data into the computer; processing payments; recording and upkeep of medical records; effectively retrieve and communicate information to and from clients.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Competence in the English language, patience, and a pleasant manner. Must be able to work independently, and must be sufficiently self-motivated to continuous work towards quality improvement in the workplace, professionally and personally.
