Position Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

Department: Product 

Reports to: Senior Software Developer

Job Description:

• Develops, publishes, and executes test plans and test cases.
• Develops quality assurance standards.
• Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
• Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Testing and diagnosing existing web-based software products through debugging, regression testing, participating in code reviews, creating unit tests, and debugging.
• Writing technical specifications and other supporting documentation for software products.
• Assisting the Support team to resolve customer issues requiring detailed knowledge of the inner workings of software products.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Fluent in English and technical writing skills.
• Strong knowledge of Internet and Microsoft technologies.
• 3 years of testing web applications.
• 3 years of testing and scripting SQL.
• 3 years’ experience testing web services and client/server applications.
• Able to quickly react to changing priorities.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Optional additional experience:

• Health care applications.
• Experience with automated pharmaceutical supply chain management.
• Microsoft Azure.
• LogMeIn.
• Experience with Pyxis or Cubex cabinets.
• Team Foundation Server / Azure DevOps
• HIPAA training and certification.

Hours of Operation/Travel:

• Generally working from the Corporate Office in Scottsdale
• Hybrid work schedule consisting of Mondays through Thursdays in the Office and Fridays working from home. Summer hours: T-Th in the office and Monday and Friday working from home. 
• Limited to no travel is required.

Compensation

• $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 DOE
