POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities of this position are to assist and provide back up to the Facilities Manager in maintaining the expected image of the company through its appearance and functionality.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for the maintenance and appearance of the building and the grounds.
- Be the backup for Preparation of outgoing and reception of incoming UPS shipments on a daily basis.
- Deliver all incoming UPS to appropriate internal staff members.
- Assist in ordering supplies as necessary; includes paper stock, resale supplies for credit unions, vending supplies and kitchen supplies.
- Assist in winter snow removal.
- Assist with maintenance of company vehicles.
- Assist in maintenance of storage areas in all office locations.
- Routinely gather and dispose of all recyclable paper and confidential waste containers.
- Run errands and perform miscellaneous duties as directed by immediate supervisor.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
- Ability to operate telephone, photocopier, fax machines and PC workstation.
- Ability to travel by auto to diverse locations throughout the Greater Grand Rapids area.
- Possess a valid Michigan Driver’s License with good driving record.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self directed, able to take initiative.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at one time.
