MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

For this position, CTI will consider applicants who desire/prefer remote or work-from-home employment if all REQUIRED EXPERIENCE and a majority of PREFERRED EXPERIENCE is met

Education: High School Degree or equivalent required, Associate’s Degree or some college preferred, Bachelor’s Degree highly desired.

Training and Experience:

Required Training and Experience:

• Prior naval service in the Interior Communications Electrician (IC) rating at minimum of E-6 paygrade
• Expertise in the operation and performance of organizational, intermediate, corrective and preventive maintenance on interior communications, alarms, warning systems, ship controls, entertainment, navigation, flight deck video and control systems, and plotting equipment.
• Knowledge of rating technical references and technical documents

Preferred Experience:

• Prior service as “A” or “C” School instructor
• USN Master Training Specialist (MTS) certification

General Knowledge and Skills: Must be able to prioritize tasks, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be highly organized. Must be able to handle multiple tasks, possess strong analytical skills, be detail oriented, and be able to operate successfully with little to no supervision.

Must possess knowledge and skills necessary to analyze and verify government furnished technical information and ensure it is handled, marked, and delivered IAW the requirements applicable to the classification level.

Must possess extensive knowledge in the operation and performance of organizational, intermediate, corrective and preventive maintenance on interior communications, alarms, warning systems, ship controls, entertainment, navigation, flight deck video and control systems, and plotting equipment; knowledge must also include operational performance capabilities and a complete understanding of security classification and mission sensitivity issues.

Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Security Clearance: None required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as a SME assisting in the development of interactive courseware associated with IC A and C school training programs.
• Interpret technical documentation and work in conjunction with instructional systems designers, 3D modelers, and multi-media specialists to develop accurate and effective computer-based training in a fully immersed 3D game-based environment.
• Execute effective daily communication with all team members to support fast paced, high performing tasking requirements.
• Support platform-specific training at all levels of development and will be responsible for presenting the product functions and deliverables to civilian and military officials.
• Travel to naval training facilities as required.
• Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
