Job Description

Position Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in 3d game design or related field is preferred. Associate’s Degree or Technical Certificate is also acceptable.

Required Experience:

  • 6 years' experience working as a 3D Artist
  • Proficiency using Autodesk 3DS Max (Modeling, Lighting, and Animation)
  • Advanced skill with hard-surface modeling, UVW unwrapping, and texturing
  • Model creation experience for Virtual Simulations/Game Assets
  • Proficiency using Adobe Photoshop
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with other team members
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Application and attention to the use of standards and specifications for courseware (e.g. style guide)

Preferred Experience:

  • Proficiency using Adobe Substance Painter
  • Experience or working knowledge using Unity game engine
  • Prior experience on a DoD courseware development project with ICW2-4 requirements
  • Ability to understand/interpret Script Storyboards

Portfolio:Must submit a link to your 3D portfolio. (Wireframes a plus)

General Skills:Must possess excellent oral, written, and visual communication, handle multiple tasks, be flexible with work assignments, work well with a multitude of personalities, and work with little to no supervision. Must possess a creative approach to problem-solving, be detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.

Position Description

This is a Full-Time position based in Jacksonville, FL. CTI will consider applicants who desire/prefer remote or work-from-home employment if ALL REQUIRED EXPERIENCE is met.

The Multimedia Specialist is part of a development team creating high-level interactive courseware; responsible for the conception, design, and development of multimedia assets for final delivery of computer based training courseware.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creation and animation of 3D models (including UV unwrapping and texturing) for placement within Unity Game Engine
  • Creation of 3D textures using Adobe Substance Painter and Photoshop
  • Mentor junior artists
  • Train new artists to the team
  • Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

Special attention to direction, art requirements, and revisions for all gaming elements will be necessary for a successful candidate for this position.

Software:3DS Max, Adobe Substance Painter, Adobe Creative Suite, and Unity Game Engine

Travel:None anticipated

Security Clearance: Must be eligible to acquire a “Secret” security clearance
