Duties and Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, the Payroll Specialist processes TUC's semi-monthly payroll using ADP WFN and eTime; enters/checks new hire paperwork, Action Request forms and timesheets for accuracy of coding, adherence to applicable laws, calculates and inputs data necessary to process payroll; generates and distributes reports and spreadsheet reports; reconciles monthly benefit bills and GL journals; prepares vacation journal entries; notifies employees of stale-dated checks and prepares journals for escheatment; prepares manual checks and check requests as needed; provides daily supervision of student asst, maintains files, performs other duties including special projects.
