```Overview```
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable person to join our team. As Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for accurately processing and recording invoices, maintaining vendor files, and ensuring timely payments. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

```Duties```
- Process and code invoices accurately and efficiently
- Review and reconcile vendor statements
- Prepare and process weekly check runs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files
- Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner
- Assist with month-end closing activities
- Perform account reconciliations as needed
- Assist with other accounting tasks as assigned

```Experience```
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounts payable or related field
- Proficiency in account reconciliation processes
- Familiarity with accounting software such as PeopleSoft or Workday
- Strong understanding of debits and credits
- Knowledge of technical accounting principles
- Experience with journal entries and general ledger coding
- Familiarity with ADP or other HRIS systems is a plus
