CSM Companies, Inc, located in Madison, WI, is currently looking for a talented individual to take on a full-time Accounts Payable position! This position is ideal for those who have experience in the accounting field or a related field, strong organizational skills, strong communication skills, and strong problem-solving abilities. Responsibilities:

• Set invoices up for payment, complete check requests and process company checks
• Prepare analysis associated with accounts and monitor company accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Resolve bill discrepancies, complete vendor document maintenance, and correspond with vendors regarding their inquiries
• Assist in month end A/P reconciliation

Primary Duties:

• Full-cycle accounts payable duties
• Review invoices as well as check requests
• Sort, organize and match bills and check demands
• Complete wire exchanges and ACH obligations

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting or related field required; Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
• Good understanding of accounts payable and knowledge of common accounting procedures
• Understanding of relevant computer programs, proficient in data entry and management
• Experience with Excel preferred
• Preferred 1-4 years of accounts payable and general accounting exposure and experience
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
• Attention to fine detail and accuracy
• Discretion and sound judgment
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
