As a Security Technician at CSI Technology Integrators, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting security systems and equipment. Your role will involve working with a diverse range of security technologies to ensure the safety and security of our clients' premises. Key Responsibilities:

· Installation and Configuration: Install and configure security systems, including alarms, CCTV cameras, access control systems, head-end computer systems, and intrusion detection systems, according to client specifications and industry standards. Installation, termination, and calibration of field devices and sensors, and installation of communication infrastructure including conduit, enclosures, and fiber optic cables.

· Maintenance and repairs: Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of security equipment to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.

· Testing and Troubleshooting: Preform system testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.

· Documentation: Maintain detailed records of installations, configurations, maintenance, and repairs for future reference and reporting:

· Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with clients to explain system functionality, address their concerns, and provide training as necessary.

· Compliance: Ensure that all security installations and activities comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.

· Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on completed installations to ensure they meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

· Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to execute complex security projects efficiently.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant coursework in security systems preferred.

· Minimum of two years’ experience with computer data entry and administrative/ office management.

· Proven experience of 5 or more years as a security technician or a related field.

· US citizenship to obtain/maintain NC Alarm System licensing Board.

· The ability to obtain and maintain a minimum Secret Level Clearance, current active clearance preferred.

· Must have direct experience in commercial or residential environments.

· Experience installing CAT5, CAT6, and Coaxial Cables (COAX), ideally in commercial environments with attention to neatness in cabling.

· Proficient in the installation, configuration and maintenance of security systems and equipment.

· Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

· Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Valid Driver’s license and the ability to travel to client locations as needed.

· Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
