YOUR NEW ROLE AS AN INTERIM PROGRAM DIRECTOR

The schedule for this temporary position is Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with flexibility.

As the Interim Program Director, you oversee the operations of a group home for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Your role involves maintaining a structured daily routine, including organizing activities, assisting with daily living tasks, and ensuring medication administration while upholding human rights principles. Additionally, you implement positive behavior support strategies outlined in Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and manage crisis situations when necessary.

Compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards, as well as overseeing program budgets and staffing, are integral aspects of your responsibilities. You serve as the primary on-call staff for residential homes, addressing urgent needs and ensuring the well-being and safety of individuals under your care. Encouraging community integration, facilitating ISP goal implementation, and overseeing the Medication Administration Program (MAP) are also key duties. The position offers a staff retention pay rate and a sign-on bonus, subject to continued funding.

REQUIREMENTS FOR AN INTERIM PROGRAM DIRECTOR

The knowledge and skills required for this position are:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred:

• College degree or CNA certification
• 2 years of supervisory experience (experience with adults diagnosed with ID/D, ABI, or chronic conditions is a plus)
• Map certification
