Responsibilities for this position consist of, but are not limited to the following:
Ensure the proper and timely set up of all necessary outlets for each scheduled banquet, dining, beverage cart, and outing functions including opening and closing procedures (checklists), sale tracking and incentive programs.
Responsible for beginning and ending inventories for all beverages, liquor, beers. Assure all pricing is accurate.
Assist Director with weekly manager’s report for review at weekly manager’s meetings, including all BEO’s, sales and labor reports.
Provide to Directors weekly labor schedule, including all events listed.
Perform daily walk through checklist, add any maintenance issues to smart sheet.
Delegate more administrative duties to assistant manager and develop their capabilities, productivity and value to the company.
Responsible of all equipment including banquet and small wares
Inspect all beverage receivables for quality, quantity, specification. Check all receivables against the daily order sheet to ensure everything ordered was received. Everything must be ordered and receive through Birch Street.
Maintain all beverage and operating cost percentages within budgetary guidelines
Ensure outstanding facility presentation at all times. (Outside BBQ presentation and seating)
Ensure outstanding customer service at all times.
Assure that all employees are in proper uniform at all times (no jean shorts) aprons must be worn when waiting tables.
Ensure proper staffing levels and payroll (ADP) in accordance with Heath. Assure that payroll is submitted on time and missing punches are corrected daily.
Deliver increase revenues for ala cart and beverage cart with specials and incentive programs.
Responsible for all banks and petty cash.
Create and promote a safe working environment throughout the facility and within compliance of OSHA standards to include employee sanitation, hygiene and safe driving practices
Requirements:
Experience leading a team and managing staff
Banquet, and or restaurant experience is required
Basic computer knowledge
Weekday/Weekend availability is required
