As a member of the executive Leadership team, the Director of Operations collaborates closely to shape company objectives, establish systematic approaches, and offer constructive insights for enhancing performance. The Director of Operations directly reports to the COO/EVP, ensuring alignment with broader organizational strategies and objectives.
This role will collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team in crafting and executing strategic plans, setting the course for 1, 3, 5, and 10-year objectives using EOS, 4DX, and the Crystal D Way to align the company's trajectory with visionary goals.Direct oversight of: Operations Departmental Managers and Staff

#120%Develop strategies, tactics, and tools to deliver on 1-, 3-, 5- and 10-year plans per the VTO.
  • Forecast, projecting one year ahead, the necessary resources essential for producing products that align with the sales forecast supporting the written plan and/or budget.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes within Operations.
  • Anticipate future resource requirements (human and capital), looking ahead 2-3 years, to effectively support sales growth plan.
  • Develop long-term plans to ensure delivery on 10-year sales goals.
#230%Establish and maintain processes, personnel, and training to deliver planned gross margin targets.
  • Execute the Operations strategy in accordance with the business plan to deliver required Gross Margin.
  • Execute tactics and provide the essential tools to accomplish the daily objectives.
  • Review and update Core Process quarterly to ensure the efficient delivery of the Wow Effect.
  • Participate in and lead L10’s to ensure the completion of Rocks and To Do’s.
#315%Establish and leverage a comprehensive reporting system that effectively monitors and reports on all operations.
  • Implement departmental scoreboards to establish self-assessment of performance in each department.
  • Ensure that every manager reports their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and comprehends implications to the financial statement to deliver GM as planned.
  • Utilize relevant and meaningful metrics to evaluate the success of each department.
  • Ensure operational performance against the allocated budget.
  • Utilize essential metrics in evaluating the performance of managers to deliver a high functioning team.
  • Communicate crucial performance metrics to Operations managers to ensure employee performance.

  • Provide guidance to cultivate teams capable of achieving collective goals.
  • Oversee each manager's execution of their annual plan to deliver overall GM.
  • Comprehend and identify the motivations driving individuals to ensure on-team throughout the process.
  • Deliver the vision for the future and how managers need to prepare their team or leaders for profitable growth.

  • Assess the training and professional development needs of Operations leaders ensure we have a strong management team
  • Instruct each manager in creating a comprehensive plan to deliver on departmental goals.
  • Educate each manager in executing the established strategy.
  • Recognize and initiate learning and development opportunities for Operational teams to ensure continuous improvement.
  • To guide managers in cultivating teams capable of achieving the objectives outlined in the Operations plan.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.
  • Encourage and influence employees, at all levels, driving a one team customer 1st approach.
  • Spend time with Memory Makers and promote company culture and vision to assure alignment as one team.
  • Present critical numbers, key metrics, business strategy, and company’s status to drive behaviors that influence GM while delivering the WOW effect.
  • Meet with COO and executive team to inform, influence, and lead company to profitable growth.
  • Believe in and communicate the vision and strategies regularly to drive the desired behaviors.
  • Communicate the goals clearly and reinforce these goals regularly.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s): The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to successfully perform the job’s essential functions.
Knowledge, Education, Experience and/or Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Operations, or related field and eight or more years of experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in a similar function doing some or all aspects of the essential duties and responsibilities listed above; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the above listed essential duties and responsibilities.
  • 5 years at an executive level is a plus.
  • Our business operates on EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) and the 4DX business operating systems. Previous experience with these systems is a plus but is not required.
  • The Operations team utilizes Lean Manufacturing systems and tools. Previous experience with these systems is a plus but is not required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • On-the-job training may be required.
