Crystal Cabinet Works is seeking a CNC Operator to join our team in Princeton, MN!

We sell our fine cabinetry through independent kitchen and bath dealers throughout the USA and Canada. Schedule and Pay:

1st Shift: Monday through Thursday 5:00 AM - 3:15 PM ; Friday OT

Salary Grade E

Job Summary:

The CNC Operator is responsible for operating the CNC Router and automated material handler to produce the correct quality as well as quantity of product.

Job Duties:

  • Receives direction from the supervisor and notifies the supervisor when more work is needed.
  • Maintains the work area, machinery and tools in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
  • Follows all safety procedures, rules and guidelines as well as notifies the supervisor of any existing or potential safety issues.
  • Sets up and operates CNC machining center/automated material handler to produce the quality as well as quantity of parts needed on a daily basis to meet production needs.
  • Downloads programs, loads and runs router.
  • Removes parts manually and puts on to carts inspecting for quality or program errors.
  • Adjusts machines as needed for minor program changes.
  • Operates labeling system and assures parts are loaded properly.
  • Prioritizes hot jobs as required.
  • Changes tools twice weekly.
  • Prepares test boards and resurfaces cutting table as needed.
  • Removes drops and scans them into inventory.
  • Scans drops into job.
  • Writes up green slips as needed.
  • Performs daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance i.e., cleaning, greasing, checking wheel alignment.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of the various wood species and is able to differentiate between them.
  • Makes fundamental mathematical calculations and reads measurement devices, i.e. tape measure, etc.
  • Fills in other areas as needed.
