Crystal Cabinet Works is seeking a Customs Set Up Technician to join our team in Princeton, MN!

Schedule and Pay:

1st Shift: Monday through Thursday 5:00 AM - 3:15 PM ; Friday OT hours vary

Salary Grade G

Job Summary:

The Customs Set Up Technician is responsible for fabricating parts for custom cabinets in preparation for assembly from a cut list, job order and/or detailed drawing.

Job Duties:

  • Reviews job orders, cut lists, detailed drawings and identifies parts that need fabrication.
  • Organizes job by priority and fabricates parts needed for custom cabinets i.e. sides, tops, etc. for Master Cabinet Builder to produce.
  • Operates power tools for fabrication i.e., chop saw, table saw, shaper, router, miter saw, etc.
  • Operates hand tools for fabrication i.e., orbital sander, staple, router.
  • Identifies damaged and missing parts as well as repairs, remakes or orders remakes.
  • Communicates with Customer Service to verify specifications of custom cabinets.
  • Reorders stock components as needed.
  • Follows safety procedures and maintains work area and equipment in a neat, clean, and order fashion.
  • Demonstrates self-motivation in the timely completion of daily/weekly assignments.
  • Ensures products produced meet quality standards.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of the various wood species and can differentiate between them.
  • Makes fundamental mathematical calculations and reads measurement devices, i.e. tape measure, etc.
  • Fills in other areas as needed.
