Crunch Fitness - Gilbert is Hiring a HIIT/Small Group Training Instructor/Coach Near Gilbert, AZ

Crunch Fitness in Gilbert, AZ is a multi-million dollar state of the art fitness facility. We are looking for an experienced, high energy, customer service minded coaches/instructors to join our team. The position plays an important role in instructing classes in our amazing HIIT Zone which includes a large turf, battle ropes, TRX, Marpo Ropes, plyo boxes, sleds, medicine balls, slam balls, kettlebells, and more. We are specifically looking for coaches who want to teach our 45 minute HIIT classes to small groups of members. Coaches/instructors use their experience and knowledge to teach the class with our easy to use layout and your creativity. We have over 7 class formats for you to choose from to teach on our schedule. If you are available any mornings, evenings, and specifically on Saturdays mornings, please consider joining our team. We are located one mile from downtown Gilbert on the Northwest Corner of Guadalupe Rd. and Gilbert Rd.

Reports to: Group Fitness Coordinator/Manager

Requirements:

Maintain valid CPR Certification
Nationally Accredited Aerobic Certification AFAA, ACE or NASM preferred

Special Skills:

At least one year of experience teaching fitness classes for clients of all fitness levels
Strong customer service skills
Able to market classes and gym on social media
Good verbal and non-verbal communication
Passionate about teaching in a fun gym environment

Responsibilities:

Instruct safe and effective exercise classes.
Plan and teach fitness classes.
Maintain all mandatory education certifications
Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures
Understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards for the club location and employee handbook
Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior in accordance with Crunch mission statement
Facilitate all member requests or forward to a manager
Maintain professional disposition at all times
Be able to engage members and instruct accordingly
Ability to communicate with manager and members in a timely and professional manner
Bring in enthusiasm and energy to each class
Easy going and flexible
Work collaboratively as a team member and be willing to help other instructors substituting classes, etc.
