Position Summary: The Assistant General Manager supports all aspects of resort operations including guest and employee satisfaction, reputation management, human resources, financial performance, sales, and revenue generation and delivering a return on investment. Assists the general manager with the operational and financial management of the property. Meets assigned departmental budgets and monitors financial statements.
Verifies that all brand standards are being maintained in each area of the property.
Verifies that all team members meet or exceed all brand requirements.
Takes action on guest and resident requests seeking resolution.
Delivers and leads strong customer service and operational practices. Enforces resort rules and standards.
Assists RV Resort Manager with administrative duties and tasks.
Assists with the employee life cycle of recruiting, hiring, training, coach, counseling and mentoring. Supervises employees in the assigned department(s).
Assists with delivering profitable results and operating within budgeted guidelines.
Participates in the development of short term and long term financial and operational plans for the Resort.
Meets goals for projected revenue levels as well as guest satisfaction.
Remains current on business trends and local activities.
Assists in the development of new programs which result in an increased level of guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
Operates company golf cart and/or truck.
Must have flexibility to respond to resort needs during non-business hours
