CRR Hospitality is Hiring an Operations Manager- Verde Ranch RV Near CAMP VERDE, AZ

Position Summary: The Operations Manager will support Department Heads of each operation at our RV Resort and obtain full responsibility in their absence. This position will require thorough knowledge of Guest Services, Housekeeping, Laundry, and operations within the resort. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 

  • Maintains excellent customer relations by keeping abreast of all in-house and area functions to answer questions and concerns with timely and knowledgeable responses in person and on telephone. Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell site nights, increase occupancy and revenue.

  • Preserves responsibilities for all aspects of all departments in the absence of Dept manager. 

  • Supports and works with all Heads of Department (HOD) in all aspects of running the Resort. 

  • Supervises the operations of Guest Services, Housekeeping, Laundry, and F&B to ensure an optimal level of service and hospitality is provided to the guests. 

  • Contributes to and maintains established information and communication sources such as department and front desk logbooks in order to enhance department communications and operations. 

  • Ensures the premises are in operative condition as per category of the unit to receive & serve the guests. 

  • Conducts regular operations team meetings with all the HOD daily/weekly to discuss routine operational matters, sales targets, GSTS feedback / RSTS feedbacks and action taken for service recovery, and any staff issues. 

  • Monitors purchases and requestions of each department, the accounts receivable and the accounts payable. 

  • Sustains inventory and inspection of stores (F & B / Kitchen) to check the stock in hand (quality, par stock levels, expiry etc.). 

  • Calculates and/or posts monies, receipts, guest accounts and other forms of credit using accurate, proper cash handling methods and established procedures in order to present the customer with timely and precise charges upon check-out and maintain accurate resort records.

  • Inspects all departments for SOP implementation, cleanliness, ambience, service readiness, staff grooming & hospitality culture. 

  • Supervises the coordination between all departments for smooth & efficient operations. 

  • Meets with all dept. heads to review & train the staff to upkeep the human capital. 

  • Upholds operation & overhead cost to maintain maximum revenue to the organization. 

  • Answers calls 24 hours a day to resolve any urgent problems or emergencies. 

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: 

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Language Ability: 

Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. 

Mathematical Ability: 

Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. 

Reasoning Ability: 

Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. 

Computer Skills: 

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, Outlook, Internet Explorer) 

Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages subordinate employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
