Crox Consulting is Hiring a Procurement Analyst Near Newark, NJ

Responsibilities:

  • Independently complete administrative tasks and projects in support of procurement and logistical transactions for the goods, materials and services required by company
  • Manage the day-to-day administration of contracts, purchase orders and associated invoices between Suppliers, Contractors, Consultants and the company
  • Interact daily with company team Developers, Engineers, Regulatory, and Management members
  • Contract Development and Administration
  • Create Purchase Requisitions and contracts
  • Support Procurement efforts in all administrative requirements (document preparation, mailing, filing, research, invoice reconciliation, notices, system requirements)
  • Prepare quotation analysis
  • Receive and distribute Proposals and bids
  • Maintain Sourcing files and data regarding material and service suppliers
  • Update computer databases/system with contract documents
  • Pre-qualify suppliers
  • Monitor PO Acknowledgements
  • Promote cost savings with customers
  • Assist in relationship management
  • Read spreadsheets, Insurance Certificates
  • Understand and prepare budgets, budget reports and supporting documentation
  • Conduct market research and analysis
  • Supplier Management/ Vendor Relations
  • Process data and deliverables from new and alternative supplier/contractor sources.
  • Maintain a supplier performance evaluation system
  • Monitor and expedite PO/Contract deliverables
  • Monitor status via contact with customers and suppliers/contractors
  • Ensure audit compliance of purchasing process
  • Assist and facilitate internal and external audit requests

Requirements:

  • High School diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Procurement experience valuable
  • Supply chain experience
  • Microsoft Proficiency required
  • High level written and verbal skills required
  • Excel spreadsheets
  • Interpersonal skills and organizational skills
  • Verbal and Written Communication Skills and reading for comprehension

Experience Levels:

  • Intermediate: Typically has up to approximately 4 years of experience performing this specific job function and requires some managerial oversight/direction.
  • Advanced: Full knowledge of related concepts. Typically has at least 4 years of experience performing this specific job function and requires minimal managerial oversight/direction.
  • Expert: Full knowledge of the function. Demonstrated ability to apply concepts to the functional area and see big picture impact of actions. Typically has approximately 7 years of experience performing this specific job function and requires very limited managerial oversight/direction.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
