Crown Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Accountant to fill an opening with a Manufacturing company located in Dayton, Ohio.

Requirements of the Accountant

• Accounting degree or equivalent experience
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong Microsoft Excel ability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to multitask and prioritize work effectively
• Able to maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities of the Accountant

• Accounts Payable processing Maintain electronic copies of invoices

Maintain supporting documentation for approval
Enter vendor payable invoices
Prepare listing of proposed payments weekly
Prepare ACH payments for approval
Follow up on invoices that are waiting approval
Process credit card receipts and maintain supporting documentation

• Accounts Receivable processing Create and email customer invoices

Maintain electronic copies of invoices
Maintain supporting documentation for approval
Post receipts of customer invoice payments
Maintain control over customers with supply chain financing agreements
Follow up on invoices that are past due

• Accounting
• Reconcile bank accounts

Maintain accounting records
Assist with preparing inventory reports
Assist with reconciling general ledger accounts
Assist with posting of journal entries
Assist with month-end close process
Assist in preparing financial reports

• Other accounting duties as assigned
