Crown Power & Equipment Co LLC strives to embrace the future of Agriculture through technology and innovation. Our Technology Specialist will be a member of the Crown Technology Department and will work across their assigned area to help guide and lead our customer base into the new era of farming. The Technology Department will have a primary focus in areas of training and customer engagement. A Technology Specialist will be involved in all aspects of those focus areas with an emphasis of working with their assigned area’s salesmen and growers to create a positive customer experience using the latest technology.

Requirements

Essential Job Functions

• Work with the Locations, Salesmen, and Management to deliver positive customer experience on new equipment sales.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and perform successful demos of products.
• Work with area locations and field staff to drive sales of services and advanced product lines.
• Work directly with assigned customers to set up and demonstrate new products after sales.
• Work with locations and field staff in assigned area to grow the agronomic services business.
• Work with field staff and customers to assist with in field startups.
• Work with customers to understand their technology service needs to help grow their business.
• Continued education of products, services, and processes.
• Gain customer experience to learn how to interact with customers and best execute a sale.
• Work in a team environment to accomplish company goals in a location and area.

Required Qualifications

· Excellent customer service skills and the ability to develop strong business relationships.

· Ability to respond quickly, effectively, and professionally to demands and requests from customers and employees.

· Ability to manage and resolve interpersonal conflict.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to multi-task and effectively manage time.

· Intermediate-level computer skills, including the ability to learn new business systems and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

· Must be self-disciplined and able to work independently.

· Ability to work flexible hours.

· Ability to travel for training throughout the United States.

· Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

· Associates or Bachelors in Ag Sciences or related field or 5 years of experience in the farm equipment industry or row crop agriculture

· Candidate is required to successfully pass the pre-employment screenings which includes background check, pre-employment drug testing as well as driving record evaluation.
